Greenwich Peninsula is one of the largest regeneration schemes in Europe. Plot 104, located to the east of the area, is designed by architects Pilbrow & Partners and is part of a major program to deliver more than 10,000 new residential units in London. The buildings on Plot 104 sit on the Lower Riverside district and benefit of parkside surroundings; the complex is comprised of The Waterman, a 32-story tower, and Waterman Gardens, a 7-story podium at its base which features also penthouses. The tower’s highlight is a landscaped terrace on the 23rd floor, which offers stunning views of London skyline and of the River Thames. Other amenities include a private cinema, event spaces, a club room with private workstations and a library.
Tower: bespoke unitized aluminum cladding system with openable glass, aluminum sheets and ceramics on the lower levels. Podium: unitized aluminum cladding system on the level 2-5 and a stick system on the lower floors and the penthouse on level 6. Both the tower and the podium have steel bolt-on balconies; total surface of around 18,000 sqm (193,800 sq ft).
