Permasteelisa was first established in 1973, originally with the name of I.S.A. Industria Italiana Serramenti, genius of its visionary founder who had the future in his eyes. The original company started its activity in Italy as a small window manufacturer and grew to become a premium brand in the façade construction market. By virtue of its international expansion and growth, Permasteelisa set the basis for the Permasteelisa Group’s foundation. Today around 3,700 employees work in the main office in Italy and in the other offices around the world.
Gartner was founded in 1868 in Gundelfingen an der Donau in Germany and grew to become a premium brand in the façade construction market. In 2001, the then family-owned company became a member of the Permasteelisa Group, the global leader in curtain wall and advanced façade technologies. Today, more than 1,300 employees work in the main office in Germany and in the other offices in Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States and Russian Federation.
The original company was founded in 1933 as manufacturer of aluminum parts and furniture for shipping and lightweight aircraft for the general aviation sector. In the 1958 Scheldebouw started its operations in the curtain wall market and grew to become a premium brand in façade construction. In 1995, the company became a member of the Permasteelisa Group, the global leader in curtain wall and advanced façade technologies. Today around 500 employees work in our offices in the Netherlands.
