Designed by world-renowned architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox, One Crown Place is a mixed-use development offering around 56,000 sqm (607,000 sq ft) of office and residential space. The complex is situated on the north edge of the City of London - a short walk away from Shoreditch and Old Street and just a few minutes from Liverpool Street Station - and consists of two residential towers, hosting over 240 units designed with light-filled spaces, above a six-floor podium building featuring around 15,500 sqm (167.000 sq ft) of office space along with retail space at ground level. The prism-like design of the two towers allows minimal impact on the surroundings as it permits as much natural light to reach the streets below; at the same time this particular silhouette maximizes the views from inside the residential units. To improve this aim the façades feature a unitized curtain wall system with integrated fritted glass and terracotta panels. One Crown Place development offers a series of amenities such as a gym, a screening room, an outdoor terrace, a work hub and a private dining room.
Design, engineering, manufacturing and installation of 23,500 sqm (252,900 sq ft) of façade mainly featured by a unitized curtain wall system, including aluminum frames, fritted glass and parts in terracotta.
