The Concept

Located on a prominent site in the heart of San Francisco’s Rincon Hill District, between Main and Beale Streets and only two blocks from the Embarcadero waterfront, LUMINA sits adjacent to The Infinity, a sister project developed by Tishman Speyer. The development at 201 Folsom Street consists of two mid-rise plaza buildings and two towers, respectively 37 and 42 stories high, all arranged around a central landscaped courtyard.

122 m / 400 ft

42 stories tall

LUMINA offers over 650 residential units boasting first-class features with diagonal views to the city and San Francisco Bay thanks to its distinctive geometry and the extensive use of highly efficient, floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Designed by award-winning, international studio Arquitectonica in collaboration with Heller Manus Architects, the two elliptical towers are soft and curved at the corners, reaching respectively 121,9 m (400 ft) and 106,7 m (350 ft) and rising above the striking curves and angles of the lower structures. The project achieved LEED-NC Silver certification in 2018.
