Permasteelisa Group started operating in North America in the late 1990s and rapidly became one of the leading façade specialists in the region, responsible for some of the best-known, most-loved buildings in the USA and Canada.

Our acquisition of Benson at the end of 2024 expanded our US footprint and strengthened our capacity to provide clients with exceptional custom façade solutions.

From concept to completion, we work as one agile, efficient team. Our designers collaborate closely with architects, clients and partners to achieve creative, practical solutions. Projects are co-ordinated seamlessly by our expert project managers, with rigorous processes and quality protocols underpinning all we do.

All our façades are bespoke, so testing is in our DNA – from material sampling to full-scale concept realisation. Our manufacturing facilities across the region are equipped with the most advanced machining and assembly technologies and our installation experts use customised processes to ensure exceptional quality, safety, and time and cost efficiency.

Complexity and sustainability

We are renowned in the region for our ability to create the most complex façades featuring curved, irregular shapes and surfaces. Our steel-and-glass façades – a particular specialism of our Gartner brand – have shaped museums, galleries, offices and educational spaces across North America. We also pioneer sustainability and are proud to be the first company in the region to have achieved an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for a bespoke façade for UC Berkeley’s Gateway project.
