Our legacy in London

Permasteelisa Group has done more to shape London’s skyline than any other façade company, completing over 250 buildings in the capital since 1968. We were instrumental in the development of Canary Wharf’s skyscrapers in the 1990s and early 2000s, creating over 20 landmark buildings with leading architects. Since then, we have delivered façades for some of the best-known towers in the City of London, including 20 Fenchurch Street, 8 Bishopsgate, One Leadenhall and 52 Lime Street (the Scalpel). Outside the Square Mile, we have also worked on the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station and created the iconic Shard – the tallest building in the UK.

We have a long history of delivering iconic buildings across Italy, Germany, BeNeLux, Ireland, France, Spain, Poland and Bulgaria. We have three brands operating in the region: Permasteelisa (based in Italy), Gartner (Germany), and Scheldebouw (Netherlands).
