Situated on the corner of Charterhouse Street and Faringdon Road in London, the JJ Mack Building is a 10-storey development that provides high-quality offices, retail spaces and three terraces with extensive views across central London.

The building is highly sustainable and has achieved BREEAM Oustanding rating. We are also proud to have achieved an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for the bespoke façade, taking into account embodied carbon from manufacture and installation through to use and end-of-life, with a detailed analysis of raw materials, suppliers, plant locations, transport, energy use, waste, packaging and site activities.

The project

The concept

The building was designed to complement the architecture of this area of London. The unitised façade is comprised of an aluminium frame with double-glazed units, and limestone panels applied to the spandrel and vertical fascia.

What did we do?

We designed, engineered, manufactured and installed unitised curtain wall, with double-glazed units and stone, glass balustrade at terrace level, bespoke stick system at the main entrance and GRC (glass reinforced concrete) cladding at the ground floor. The overall area supplied was approximately 6,800 sqm.
