King Abdullah Financial District, Tadawul Tower

Tadawul Tower is the epicentre of the Middle East stock market, and the centrepiece of the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).

Designed following an international competition, the building also houses major banks and other financial institutions. The structure embodies the architect’s policy of integrating sustainability, technology and elegance, with angular shapes that result in a striking, iconic presence.

The project

The concept

The building provides top-quality office space, retail and conference facilities, plus a bespoke 1,600 sqm data centre. The tower has an intricate design with a continuously changing geometry, which presented many logistical challenges and considerations.

What did we do?

We designed, engineered, manufactured and installed 51,500 sqm of aluminium glazing and cold bending façade works. Of this total, 43,500 sqm was unitised.
