One Wilton Park

Dublin, Ireland

Located on the banks of Dublin’s Grand Canal, One Wilton Park – home to the tech company LinkedIn – sets a new benchmark in architecture, design and finish.

The nine-storey building was the first to be completed in a new campus on the banks of Dublin’s Grand Canal designed by Henry J Lyons and developed by IPUT Real Estate. The structure offers around 17,400 sqm of office space and features a full-height glazed entry lobby, plus a dramatic six-storey atrium space.

The project

The concept

The building was designed to achieve LEED Platinum and WELL Building Standard Gold level certification. A dramatic six-storey atrium space connects the building’s central and Cumberland Road wings.

What did we do?

Our colleagues in Italy designed, engineered, manufactured and installed a total of around 9,900 sqm of façade, including unitised panels, stick system canopy and aluminium soffit. The main façade comprises horizontal strong-back spandrel units up to 9m long, with a bronze anodised extruded profile and mirror polish brackets supporting triple-laminated external glass fins. The atrium features a six-storey high tensioned cable glass wall, enclosed by a glazed roof made out of diamond-shaped double-glazed units. The entrance glass fin wall is comprised of oversize 8m high triple-laminated glass fins, structurally bonded on continuous mirror polished plates and acting as mullion profiles to support double-glazed laminated glass units
