One Crown Place, which opened in 2021, is a mixed-use development that combines old and new to form a dynamic city block.

This important regeneration project on the north edge of the City of London consists of two towers housing more than 240 light-filled residential units, above a six-floor podium featuring around 15,500 sqm of office and retail space. The development also houses a gym, screening room, outdoor terrace, work hub and private dining room.

The project

The concept

The prism-like design of the two towers allows natural light to reach the streets below whilst enabling maximum views from inside. The distinctive façades both contrast and complement the historical setting, with glazed terracotta referencing the buildings that characterise the area.

What did we do?

We designed, engineered, manufactured and installed 23,500 sqm of façade, mainly comprised of a unitised curtain wall system – including aluminium frames, integrated fritted glass and terracotta panels.
