Moncler Harbour City

Moncler Harbour City is the luxury brand’s flagship boutique at the heart of one of Hong Kong’s most prestigious shopping malls. Opened in 2017, the space includes a single retail floor of approximately 500 sqm.

The store – the vision of architectural studio Gilles & Boissier – reflects Moncler’s values of innovation, quality, creativity, originality and experimentation. The exterior of the store is in line with the interior concept, welcoming customers to the ‘haute montagne’ world of Moncler.

The project

The concept

The building’s façade is created from white Calacatta marble and burnished brass, as well as offering large display windows onto Canton Road and the inside of the mall. The store design reflects Moncler’s ‘city concept’, with a blend of urban and Alpine elements.

What did we do?

We designed, engineered, supplied and installed the store’s stunning façade – a total project area of approximately 195 sqm. The façade features a range of materials, including heavily worked, 50mm-thick white Calacatta marble panels, the largest of which is 600mm x 1500mm. Stainless steel trims in a burnished brass finish and the two large shop windows complete the façade.
