MOL Campus

Opened in 2022, the MOL Campus in Budapest is a thriving office space with a public viewing platform that offers panoramic views in all directions.

The landmark building, close to the Danube in the Budapest, is the highest tower in Hungary at 120m. Designed as an innovative vertical campus of modern and flexible commercial space, every three floors constitute a unit, connected by stairs and with a winter garden. The lower levels of the tower house a conference centre and restaurants.

The project

The concept

The Foster + Partners design features an integrated tower and podium in a uniquely curved, single form. Cutting-edge technology is incorporated to control temperature and optimise natural light levels, creating a perfect working environment. The building was designed to respect its historic surroundings while being as sustainable as possible – it has achieved BREEAM Excellent rating and LEED Platinum certification.

What did we do?

We designed, engineered, manufactured and installed the large-scale, high-performance façade that envelops the building. This is made up of multiple systems and glass shapes, offering plenty of daylight, open views, direct connection to the outside and fresh air to the interior. In total, we supplied 30,650 sqm of façade, including unitised panels and stick systems.
