Louis Vuitton Beijing Sanlitun Temporary Store

Beijing, China

The Louis Vuitton Beijing Sanlitun Temporary Store – or pop-up – marks a shift in luxury retail to creating stores that act as experiential brand moments rather than permanent architectural landmarks.

The striking circular space was designed to generate a buzz, encourage social media engagement, and raise the profile of the brand to a younger fashion-forward audience. It has proved a useful testing ground for new installations and materials, and has forged links with local culture through the integration of local art and collaborations such as a pop-up cafe.
