The project

The concept

The planning and design of Karolinska University Hospital were based on patient safety, integrity and comfort. All inpatients have a private room, with space for relatives. The total area of approximately 330,000 sqm is distributed over 12 floors. The hospital’s exterior has a functional elegance, characterised by glass, steel and while clinker.

What did we do?

We designed, engineered, manufactured and installed a total of 70,400 sqm of unitised façade.
