The John A. Paulson Center at New York University brings a diverse mix of spaces into a single building that encourages connection and community engagement.

The state-of-the-art academic facility is designed to support interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in engineering, technology and entrepreneurship. The building includes everything from informal study spaces and classrooms to sports facilities and student housing. Spaces are organised into ‘neighbourhoods’ that connect with an open commons area where people can meet.

The project

The concept

The mixed-use academic building features a modern, sleek design with flexible, open spaces for learning, research and collaboration. Its fritted glass façade puts the building’s activities and art on display, whilst providing students and faculty with views of the vibrant city.

What did we do?

We designed, engineered, manufactured and installed 26,000 sqm of unitised curtain wall, including articulated side panels, projection windows and ceilings for the tower and podium.
