Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences

The luxurious Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences features two towers, a stunning glass facade, Art Deco interiors and panoramic lifts.

The two towers – a 23 storey hotel and a 16 storey serviced apartment block – are connected by a large podium that contains food outlets, meeting spaces and the city’s biggest multipurpose hall. The hall’s roof features terraces and gardens, whilst leisure and recreational facilities include a spa, pool and health club.

The project

The concept

Each tower is designed to maximise both views and solar shading, with three pinwheeling legs that radiate from a central core containing a lift shaft. The building’s glass façade features undulating forms that bring movement to the structure, completed by solid, tapered end walls.

What did we do?

We designed, engineered, manufactured and installed 98,800 sqm of façade – comprising 26,800 sqm of unitised façade system and 72,000 sqm of non-unitised façade.
