Hermès Macau One Central

Hermès’ boutique in the One Central Macau shopping centre, opened in 2023, occupies a picturesque lakeside position.

Designed by the Parisian agency RDAI, the store blends the brand’s focus on exquisite craftsmanship with inspiration from the local surroundings and culture. The aim is to create a serene yet dynamic environment, guiding customers through a journey of discovery in a luminous, harmonious space. Externally, the store stands out thanks to its striking 10m high façade.

The concept

The store’s façade is clad in locally-sourced granite at ground level, transitioning into a relief of caramel-coloured enamelled bricks. Arranged in a staggered formation to reflect light from the water, these are reminiscent of mahjong tiles.
