Dior Canton Road

Dior’s flagship store on the bustling Canton Road in Hong Kong embodies the Parisian brand’s legendary refinement and understated elegance.

Opened in 2022, the store offers 885 sqm of retail space over two floors. The elegant façade complements the interior, which features a giant crystal chandelier, original artworks, and a stone spiral staircase.

The project

The concept

The spectacular façade, designed by Peter Marino, is illuminated by an unstructured representation of the Dior cannage motif, which traces its origins back to the woven cane pattern of the chairs the fashion house’s clients once sat on.

What did we do?

We designed, engineered, supplied and installed 685 sqm of façade, which is comprised of custom extruded aluminium cladding with white PVDF (Polyvinylidene Difluoride) coating and integrated LED lighting. We provided jumbo-sized, low-iron extra-clear glass for vision windows and lightboxes. We also supplied all exterior doors and hardware for the store.
