Coca-Cola Arena

Coca-Cola Arena – one of the most technically advanced arenas in the world – is a large, indoor venue in the City Walk area of Dubai.

With seating for 17,000 people, the arena has established Dubai as a new stop on the global touring circuit for some of the world’s best entertainment acts since it opened in 2019, reinforcing the city’s reputation as a tourism and trade destination.

The project

The concept

The design takes inspiration from world-class arenas like London’s O2 Arena, with a striking exterior of the arena designed to illuminate the surrounding area and draw people in. The adaptable interior features a modular stage and retractable seating, enabling the venue to be changed from a theatre into a large-scale stadium.

What did we do?

We supplied approximately 15,000 sqm of unitised façade system, including three entrances and canopy claddings. We also supplied 2,000 sqm of decorative aerofoil louvres, a range of mechanical louvres, and stick system curtain wall. The façade includes integrated sun shading and 4,600 LEDs, which light up with changing colours at night.
