The Servier Pharmaceutical Centre in Paris-Saclay was the first development in France to be clad with our proprietary Closed Cavity Façade (CCF) technology.

Featuring innovative architecture and cutting-edge technological capabilities, the modern research centre is comprised of six buildings that can house up to 1,500 employees. The buildings were designed to foster synergy and teamwork and promote more open, dynamic and productive research.

The project

The concept

The buildings feature two-dimensionally corrugated laminated safety glass, curved glass façade and double-skin façade. CCF units alternate with façade units featuring tilt-turn windows and smoke vents. Hot-bent glazing in a small radius was used to create a wave form for the 21m high ring-shaped building.

What did we do?

We designed, engineered, manufactured and installed over 26,800 sqm of state-of-the-art façade, including 5,400 sqm of unitised double-skin façade, 3,750 sqm of which was CCF. We also supplied 3,600 sqm of steel and glass curved façade, 14,500 sqm of stick system façade, and 3,300 sqm of special elements.
