This landmark building at Canary Wharf in London, completed in 2002, stands 200m high and has 45 floors. We undertake full inspection and maintenance of the façade cladding and halo for client JLL, including the building’s signage.
The maintenance agreement runs on a four-year programme, based on our expert team inspecting and maintaining 25% of the façade cladding and halo per annum.
Given the tower’s height, location and exposure to high winds, façade maintenance is complex and requires specialised access via BMU (Building Maintenance Unit). Maintenance involves a combination of inspection, repair and preventative maintenance to ensure the façade remains in optimal condition.
This proactive approach not only optimises system efficiency and lifespan, but also identifies issues before they develop into more significant, costly issues.
