Sixty London Wall is a stunning rework of a postmodern office building at the heart of the City of London. The project, completed in 2020, involved extensive refurbishment, reconfiguring and repositioning.

The building was stripped back to its frame to provide efficient, high-quality office space with retail at ground-floor level. Terraces offer both green space for occupants and ecological benefits – designed for sustainability, the building has achieved BREEAM Outstanding.

The project

The concept

The project involved partially retaining the existing six-storey structure, strengthening it and increasing its height to over 50m (11 storeys). A new curvilinear glazed façade was designed to complement the building’s historic context, with a glazed atrium at the heart of the building and stunning roof terraces from level 5.

What did we do?

Our team designed, manufactured and installed 17,100 sqm of structural glazing façade, with carrier frames and all-glass balustrades.
