Towering to 278m, with 62 storeys, 22 Bishopsgate is the second tallest building in the UK.
Permasteelisa Group was responsible for designing, engineering, manufacturing and installing the Closed Cavity Façade (CCF) system. Since the building’s completion in 2020, we have carried out annual inspection and maintenance of the CCF system to ensure it is performing to the highest possible levels and the warranty is upheld.
As a result, the CCF continues to provide a range of sustainability benefits, including enhanced thermal performance, reduced maintenance and increased durability, preventing dust and humidity accumulation in the sealed cavity and allowing for dynamic shading and improved acoustics.
In addition to the annual FaçadeCare inspection and maintenance regime, we have carried out deglazing and integration of louvres for the building.
