Permasteelisa North America Benson appointed façade contractor at Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center
Permasteelisa North America Benson is delighted to have been awarded the contract to provide the façade for a new hospital building at Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center in Clackamas, Oregon.
The new seven-story hospital will provide over 300 patient beds, an emergency department, imaging, a surgery center and a family birthing center.
The current hospital will remain in use until the new tower opens in 2029.
Our team will supply a range of façade elements, including custom unitized curtain wall, stick curtain wall, laminated glass fins and horizontal sunshades.
We assisted the project team in adapting the Kaiser Permanente Center of Excellence template to meet the demands of the Pacific Northwest climate by increasing the façade’s thermal and condensation performance.
