Permasteelisa Group launches Worldwide Work Safe, Live Well initiative

Permasteelisa Group, is striving to set new standards for health, safety and wellbeing through the launch of a new all encompassing programme – Work Safe, Live Well.

The programme places an emphasis on both physical and psychological health and safety, because simply managing physical risk is not enough.

Health and safety is the company’s foremost priority – which is supported by a global health and safety framework that encourages local accountability.

The company follows a ‘plan, do, check, act’ model, with clear mechanisms in place across the business to identify, mitigate and eliminate risks. Regular audits, inspections and engagement with work teams provide invaluable opportunities to learn and share good practice.

Particular emphasis is placed on creating a psychologically safe environment in which everyone feels empowered to speak up and take action in relation to safety, fostering an open culture of reporting and learning from mistakes and near misses.

The company’s focus on living well goes beyond the workplace. Colleagues are cared for holistically – at work, at home, and in their communities. In practical terms, this means trying to make life better and easier for colleagues through initiatives such as flexible working policies, support with financial wellbeing, healthcare benefits, and social events.

The programme, which is visualised by a new identity, will be rolled out across Permasteelisa Group’s operating regions of Europe, North America, ASIA and the Middle East.
