CEO Liam Cummins takes on new Deputy Chair role as the company strengthens regional leadership
Permasteelisa Group has announced that its CEO Liam Cummins, has taken on a new role as Deputy Chairman as it moves into the next phase of its strategic transformation programme.
Liam, who joined the organisation in January 2023 will continue to work alongside Peter Bacon in his role as Executive Chairman. Peter is also a Partner at Altas Holdings, the US-based private equity firm that acquired the company in 2020.
Speaking about his role, Liam Cummins comments: “My newly appointed role will see me focus on the growth of the company across our four operating regions – Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East – in support of our Group’s forward-looking strategy.
“Our plan has been to implement regionally-focused leadership to best deliver projects for our clients. Operating in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East – each region is now led by an exceptionally strong leader and management team, enabling us to provide the world-class design, manufacturing and engineering services our clients have come to expect from us.
“With our new structure and leadership teams firmly in place in our regions, my attention now turns to strategic growth to ensure we remain the leading international façade specialist.”
Jalal Fitoury is the Group’s CEO in Europe; Lance Howard is President & CEO of North America – having joined as part of the company’s Benson acquisition in January, Sean Cooney remains Executive General Manager in Asia, where the company’s Retail Centre of Excellence is located and, Alessio De Mitri remains Executive General Manager in the Middle East.
