One Hyde Park

One Hyde Park is a residential and retail complex in the exclusive Knightsbridge area of London. It is widely considered the most exclusive apartment building in the world.

Comprising four connected buildings, this iconic development includes 86 residential properties, with a private cinema, swimming pool, gym, squash courts, and business suite with meeting rooms. The design complements the streetscape of Knightsbridge and offers residents daylight and generous views whilst ensuring their privacy.

The project

The concept

The four One Hyde Park buildings are connected by fully glazed cores, allowing shafts of light to enter from the south. The shape of each pavilion widens towards the centre, maximising views towards Knightsbridge and Hyde Park. Balconies that are 6m wide hang in front of sliding doors at each level, while the sides of the exterior feature hand-painted solid copper privacy fins.

What did we do?

We designed, engineered, manufactured and installed 29,000 sqm of unitised, naturally ventilated cladding panels. We also provided 72 large triple-glazed sliding doors.
