Inspection, maintenance and cleaning

Inspection, survey and consultation

We use our expertise and deep-seated experience to conduct exacting inspections and surveys of façade condition. This includes environmental surveying and consultations, reviewing the integrity of the building envelope, and carrying out pre-maintenance tests such as leak investigations and thermal performance reports to identify any areas needing attention.

Maintenance services

We carry out any repairs and improvements needed to prevent deterioration and damage to façades. This can include maintenance of all components of the building envelope – for example, door works, fire-stopping, air infiltration, and servicing automated elements, such as vents and hatches. We can also carry out energy-saving enhancements and provide bespoke sun-shading solutions. Our glazing experts are ready to carry out the repair and replacement of glass of any shape, form or size, and we are also able to repair and replace façade materials such as stainless steel, aluminium and GRFC.

Cleaning services

Our specialist cleaning teams keep façades safe and aesthetically pleasing. We have the expertise to remove dirt, pollutants, algae and other residues from glass, timber, stainless steel, aluminium, concrete, gaskets and silicone. Building components cleaned include windows, vents, AOVs, decorative elements and doors.

Refurbishment and renovation

Our FaçadeCare experts have the technical knowledge and skills to refurbish, remove and replace existing façades efficiently, safely and sustainably. With increasing legislative demands and the growing importance of energy efficiency, refurbishment and renovation projects offer an effective way to enhance technical performance and add long-term value.

Environmental benefits

Our deep-seated knowledge of façades and experience in their installation means we are specialists in dismantling them with minimal damage to components. This enables us to deconstruct façades into glazing assemblies suitable for reuse and recycling. We offer 99% diversion from landfill of all façade materials recovered from existing buildings and can provide reports on the carbon benefits of our work.

An end-to-end service

Drawing on Group-wide resources, we are able to offer an end-to-end service through the design, manufacture and installation of a new bespoke façade. We have particular expertise in the refurbishment and renovation of historic buildings and are able to source materials and refinish façades to match the quality of the existing building and ensure visual unit.
