Project Feature

The building envelope consists of 20,000 sqm unitized glass façade to the East/West oriented main elevations and 4,000 sqm of aluminium composite sheet cladding in front of the diagrid members. At the North/South elevation the building has a 1,500 sqm unitized glass façade which gives way to a 600 sqm glazed skylight on the top of the building and 4,400 sqm of aluminium composite sheet cladding to the perimeter of the building.

The main building obtains its circular oval shape through the use of triangular façade units which comprise of 4 nos. of triangular glass panes and irregular shaped units at the connection to the perimeter cladding. The size of the façade units varies at each floor with the average size of the units being 3.6 wide and 3.8 high. The aluminium composite cladding in front of the diagrid members is also part of the unitized system to the main façade and provides the distinctive diamond shaped pattern.
